...? - Ile krajów Pan odwiedził?... Kiedy wymieniałem liczbę
czasem widziałem w ich oczach niedowierzanie. I tak powstała ta strona -
po to aby każdy internauta mógł dokładnie sprawdzić dokąd podróżowałem i
policzyć kraje... I żebym ja sam nie zgubił się w rachunkach, których
wynik - jak to zawsze podkreślam - wcale nie jest w moim podróżowaniu
najważniejszy. Daje on jednak pewne wyobrażenie o skali mojej życiowej pasji... Lista obejmuje niepodległe kraje i terytoria zależne. Można dyskutować na temat tego czy jest ona kompletna. Autorytety z dziedziny geografii na pewno miały by do niej zastrzeżenia: tu brak jakiejś autonomicznej prowincji, a tam z państwa da się wydzielić jakieś mniejsze organizmy, jeszcze gdzieś indziej istnieje jakieś marionetkowe albo samozwańcze "państwo" przez nikogo nie uznawane... Dla mnie jednak przy zestawianiu listy ważny był zwykły, zdrowy rozsądek - bo mnie nie chodzi o to, by przez jakieś formalne manipulacje powiększyć ilość odwiedzonych krajów... Moja lista jest bardzo zbliżona do listy krajów i terytoriów opublikowanej przez ISO - Międzynarodową Organizację Standaryzacyjną: ISO 3166-1 (nie uwzględniam terytoriów, które nie są zamieszkiwane, bo co to za kraj bez stałych mieszkańców?). |
It is very often
that I am asked these questions: -Have you been to...? or -How
many countries have you visited?... And my answer sometimes seems
unbelievable. This is why I have created the list below. Now everybody
can see for themselves where I have travelled or count the countries I
have been to... It is also helpful whenever I am curious myself, even
if - as I always stress - it is not the score that matters here. But
this number gives you some picture of the range of my life's passion. The list consists of independent countries as well as dependent territories. One can argue whether the list is complete or not. Some geography authorities might point out that here and there some autonomous provinces are missing or some smaller parts of a country might be considered separate or somewhere we might find a self-proclaimed "country" that is not recognized anywhere... I created this list using common sense - it is not my intention to manipulate so that the number of visited countries grows bigger and bigger... My list is very similar to the one published by ISO (International Organization of Standardization): ISO 3166-1 (but I have excluded the uninhabited territories - what sort of country is the country where nobody lives?) |

I am able to provide you with some information on them, sometimes you might find it a bit out of date, though. The underlined names are linked to my reports about the countries in question. The countries are listed in the alphabetical order based on their Polish names, which accounts for some non-alphabetical order findings by the speakers of English (e.g. Ivory Coast = in Polish: Wybrzeże Kości Słoniowej; thus you will find it under "W"). |
